Gunter,
When we arrived home yesterday from Europe, I was having chest pains and
trouble breathing. Once I arrived home my breathing continued to get worse
and I started vomiting. I decided after a couple of hours of this and much
urging from my family, to go to the hospital. When I arrived, they
immediately put me on sedatives and told me I was having a massive anxiety
attack and that it was causing my chest and stomach to contract. They
recommend me to be temporary hospitalized and to have tests and possibly be
put on long term medicine. They also recommend for me to do no traveling,
especially flying, as having an attack while airborne could bring on
terrific results. I do not know what to do about the Mexican /South American
dates that we have coming at the end of the week as it looks like I will be
in the hospital. I go back to the doctor again tomorrow (Wednesday)
morning. I will keep you updated... I apologize for the inconvenience, but
this is really wrong.

Gunter, al llegar a mi hogar ayer desde Europa,
estaba teniendo dolores en el pecho y problemas para respirar, luego
continuó a ponerse peor y comencé a vomitar. Decidí después de un par de
horas, con la insistencia de mi familia acudir al hospital. Cuando
llegué al hospital, inmediatamente me colocaron sedantes y me dijeron
que estaba teniendo un masivo ataque de ansiedad y esto estaría causando
que mi estomago y pecho se contrajeran.
Ellos me recomendaron una hospitalización temporaria y que me realizara
algunos exámenes y la posibilidad de darme un tratamiento a largo plazo.
Me recomendaron que no viajara, especialmente en avión; ya que si
tuviera un ataque mientras estoy en el avión, esto podría causar
resultados terroríficos.
No sé que hacer con la gira Mexicana/Sudamericana, al parecer las fechas
coinciden con mi estadía en el hospital.
Mañana (miércoles) iré nuevamente al Doctor, los mantendré informados.
Me disculpo por los inconvenientes, pero al parecer esto es muy grave.

bassist/vocalist Steve Tucker has contacted BLABBERMOUTH.NET
to set the record straight regarding the reasons for the latest postponement
of the group's South American tour. Says Tucker: "It is true that the
tour was moved again due to me and my health. What was thought initially to
be a panic/anxiety attack indeed was not. It is in fact an infection in my
lungs, thought to be due to my excessive travel and the variety of weather
and environments that I endure in these travels. This is part of being in a
touring band and cannot be avoided. I have been advised not to travel for
some period of time, and to stay home relax to let my lungs clear. This is
very unfortunate for both the fans and the band alike. We were looking
forward to doing the Mexican, South American tour. I apologize for any
inconvenience for the fans and the promoters, as well as to my bandmates."
The rescheduled South American dates are as follows:
Sep. 04 - Monterrey, N.L., MEX - Cafe Iguana
Sep. 05 - Mexico City, MEX - Arena Lopez Mateos Tlalnepantla
Sep. 07 - Santiago de Chile, CHL - Teatro Providencia -cupo limitado

have been forced to once again postpone their South American tour, the
group's management has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET. The trek, which
was set to kick off Saturday (August 7) in Monterrey, Mexico, had to be
called off after bassist/vocalist Steve Tucker came down with a
massive anxiety attack and had to be hospitalized, according to informed
sources. An official statement from the band is expected shortly. The
rescheduled dates are as follows:
Sep. 04 - Monterrey, N.L., MEX - Cafe Iguana
Sep. 05 - Mexico City, MEX - Arena Lopez Mateos Tlalnepantla
